Gleeson Recruitment Group are very pleased to be supporting a terrific family run business based in Henley-In-Arden, in the search for a new Group Financial Controller.

The business in question are a market leader within UK property development. Delivering high quality service to all market sectors, particularly in commercial, residential and mixed use development opportunities.

The Role & Responsibilities

This Group Financial Controller position will be responsible for all finance matters across a portfolio of properties and companies within the group.

There is a great opportunity here to play a pivotal role within the business, taking the lead from a finance perspective and being an influential advisor to the owners.

Preparation of annual financial statements for multiple entities
Preparation of information for management meetings
Analysis of financial performance
Preparation of weekly cash flow forecasts
Review of tax computations
Submission of VAT returns 3 batches
Working with external consultants engaged on real estate projects
Filing of confirmation statements
Renewal of insurance policies
Liasion with solicitors on legal matters

What we are looking for

For this Group Financial Controller position we are seeking preferably a Qualified Accountant with ideally experience in an owner managed business.

In addition we are seeking an individual who has had experience within a number one in finance position andcan handle producing multiple sets of accounts in a timely fashion.
