Preschool Assistant and Early Years PreSchool Assistant Jobs available in Portsmouth

This Preschool provides full time and sessional childcare for children aged 3 to 4 years.

Their aim is to provide high quality care and education with a flexible approach to meet the needs of all families.

As a Nursery and Preschool Assistant you will:

Help children acquire self-help skills
Support each child in developing selfesteem, confidence, and feelings of competence
Provide a positive model of behaviour by treating children, parents and one another with friendliness, kindness and courtesy
Supervise children at snack and meal times ensuring that they are a time of socialising and engaging with each other and adults
Attend regular training workshops courses which promote personal and professional development
Work collaboratively with fellow colleagues to create a positive proactive and effective preschool team.

As a Preschool Assistant, this school is looking for part-time support, to provide supply to cover for sickness and training courses.

An Enhanced DBS will be required.
