Role Overview:

As a Document Controller, you will have a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of projects by managing and overseeing all project documentation. You will be in charge of organizing, tracking, and maintaining documents to ensure accuracy, relevance, and easy access for stakeholders. This position demands keen attention to detail, superb organizational abilities, and the capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment.




Key Responsibilities:


  • Establish and implement document control procedures in line with company standards and project needs.
  • Receive, record, distribute, and monitor all project documentation, such as drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of all documents, conducting quality checks and revisions when necessary.
  • Work closely with project teams to facilitate document exchange and efficiently manage document workflows.
  • Maintain both electronic and hardcopy filing systems, ensuring proper archiving and easy retrieval of documents.
  • Keep track of document statuses and deadlines, proactively identifying and resolving any discrepancies or delays.
  • Aid in preparing reports, presentations, and other necessary documentation as requested by project managers and stakeholders.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in document control or administrative roles, preferably within the construction or manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, approaching tasks in a methodical manner.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proactive attitude, showing initiative and autonomy in problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations is a plus.
