Salary:
£32 - £45,000 per annum

Location:
Walton on Thames

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm - Hybrid working

Summary of a Logistics Specialist
Our client is looking for a Logistics Specialist to join their friendly and dynamic team. You will be responsible for cost efficient transport planning, distribution & delivery planning. Transport buying and providing daily control over the inbound and outboundflows including warehouse and stock.

Key Responsibilities of a Logistic Specialist

Plan transport and shipment of customer delivery and relocation in a cost efficient manner ensuring requested service levels (OTIF)
Maintaining and verifying inbound inventory records, investigation of any discrepancies
Communication with carriers, Customer Service and warehouses for all issues, delays or discrepancies taking corrective actions and follow up
Registration of mistakes and supplier evaluation (Vendor KPI's)
Maintaining empty pallets inventory records and daily balance settlement with customers and forwarders
Other administrative tasks

Key Componentises of a Logistics Specialist

23 years of experience in working in FMCG company on similar position, preferably in an international environment
MS Office SAP/other ERP system
Communication and cooperation skills
Ability to work effectively in matrix organisation
Negotiation skills
Problem solving skills
Work and contribute proactively both independently, in teams and across the organization
Reliable and high integrity
Well organized
Flexible and dynamic
Analytical
