Assistant Regulatory Officer - Cosmetics

North West London

£25,000


As an Assistant Regulatory Officer in the cosmetics industry, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company's products comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

You will work closely with the Regulatory Affairs Manager and other departments to ensure the timely submission of product registrations, labelling compliance, and support for product launches.


You will also be responsible for monitoring changes in regulations and guidelines that may affect the company's products, and for communicating any changes to relevant parties within the company.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the preparation and submission of product registrations to regulatory authorities, including compiling technical files and supporting documentation
  • Ensure that product labelling and packaging comply with relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Monitor changes in regulations and guidelines that may affect products, and communicate any changes to relevant parties within the company
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of regulations and guidelines relevant to the cosmetics industry
  • Work with crossfunctional teams, including R&D, Marketing, and Quality, to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product life cycle
  • Collate INCI lists, ensure they're compliant and contain no black list ingredients
  • Work with the Vegan society to achieve certification
  • Conduct user trials
  • Upload products to the CPNP and UK portal
  • Maintain accurate and complete regulatory files and databases
  • Other duties as assigned by the Regulatory Affairs Manager

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
