Housekeeping Assistant - two positions available

Elmstead House Care Home - Hendon, NW4 3TH

1st position 30h per week (4 days of 6 hours shifts)

2nd position 33h per week (2 days of 7.5 hours and 3 days of 6 hours shifts)

Pay from £10.42 p/h

About the role_

As part of a friendly team led by the Head Housekeeper, you'll be responsible for carrying out all cleaning duties.

You'll make sure daily and deep cleaning tasks are carried out to a high standard, complying with infection control guidelines.

It's important that you respect the privacy and individual needs of our residents. You'll also need to be comfortable doing some paperwork and re-stocking cleaning supplies as required. It's a rewarding role and a supportive workplace where we all pull together. This role offers 35 hours a week. We are looking for flexible people who could commit to work every other weekend.

About you_

You may or may not have worked in a care home before but it is important to us that you are a caring, positive person with a strong attention to detail whilst taking pride in ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our residents as well as families and visitors.

You also know about health and safety regulations. You're a good team player - polite, presentable and mindful of older people's privacy.

Elmstead House is a welcoming care home in Hendon, Greater London.

We work in partnership with Barnet CCG to provide personalised nursing and residential care for older people living with Alzheimer's, other forms of dementia or mental health needs.

Our team has specialist expertise in caring for individuals with the most complex care needs and we also offer sensitive and supportive end of life care.
