The opportunity to work within a Law firm supporting the lawyers in the team by undertaking a range of administrative duties.

Description
This Team Assistant role will include the following duties:

  • file opening procedures
- administration of financial matters - invoice generation and other system related activities
- document production - including producing/amending letters from templates, proof
- reading and collating enclosures
- managing the compliance and other processes required to set up new client files
- filing, photocopying, scanning, sorting incoming and outgoing post, and other document management tasks
- data room administration
- assisting with billing and other accounting processes and file archiving
- undertaking title checks and land/property searches
- assisting with completion and post-completion tasks
- taking telephone messages and liaising with clients and others on straightforward issues
- assisting with marketing and event administration (mailshots, invitations, feedback collation etc.)
- general administrative tasks


Profile

  • Have Office experience.
  • Be bright, hard working and switched on.
  • Have great attention to detail.
  • Have strong communication.
  • Be able to use different software packages (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Job Offer
This is a full time permanent position.

There is hybrid work offered - 2/3 days in the office a week

No parking on site but very close to Reading train station and busses
