Our client, a leading distribution company has an exciting opportunity for a permanent
Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.
- Undertaking a variety of bookkeeping responsibilities
- Communicating at all stages with colleagues and clients where necessary
- Processing payments and documents such as invoices, journal vouchers and employee reimbursements
- Bank and Credit Card reconciliations
- Monitoring customer accounts, debt management and credit control
- Processing financial transactions, completing monthly reconciliations
- Resolving incomplete records
- Assisting with monthly reporting and year end accounts
- Other activities carried out by the finance team
- Accounting or Finance background preferred
- Working towards an accounting qualification would be preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ideal but not essential
- Experience of other accounting software such as SAGE ideal but not essential
- Ability to work as part of a team and be able to take direction
- High level of accuracy
- Friendly and confident telephone manner
Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm.
