Data Engineer - Home Insurance Company

Location:
Remote/Office (TBD)

Salary:
Up to £80,000 per annum

We are a leading home insurance company looking to expand our data engineering team. As one of the first data hires, you will be instrumental in helping us take our Azure platform forward.

You will work alongside a talented and passionate team of data professionals,solving complex problems and delivering value to the business.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with data scientists and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for datadriven insights and decisions.
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data architecture in Azure platform.
Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools such as Kafka and Python.
Develop and maintain data models and ensure data quality and integrity.
Identify and troubleshoot data pipeline and data quality issues.
Collaborate with other teams to integrate data engineering solutions with existing systems.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in a data engineering role.
Strong experience with Kafka and Python.
Experience with Azure platform is a plus.
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data architecture.
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
