Personal Injury Paralegal

Birmingham City Centre

£20,000 - £24,000 DOE

About the Role:

Simpson Judge are delighted to be representing a leading law firm in the Birmingham City Centre area, who are looking to add a fantastic Personal Injury Paralegal to their Personal Injury team.

Some of your day-to-day duties will include:

Research using internal resources.
Working to court deadlines
Diary management
Keeping clients updated in a clear and empathetic manner.
Use of inhouse case management system
Be able to support and assist the team with witness statements, costings, and general work.
Conduct matters on behalf of clients as instructed by the fee earners accurately, reliably and in accordance with the Firm's quality and risk management procedures (including complying with the Firm's Lexcel accreditation)
Keep technically up to date by appropriate training and research, and actively share know how and contribute to development of departmental precedents and policies.
Have IT skills appropriate to modern legal practice, including working with a case management system.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with clients and others.
Comply with office requirements for training and attend relevant courses.
