You'll be:

Removing secondhand car parts
Inspecting parts to see if suitable for resale
Dismantling vehicles
Open cars that have been deadlocked, locate electronic vehicle components e.g airbags
Depollute vehicles by removing and storing fluids that may be flammable, explosive, or corrosive
Use relevant machinery to heat, release and remove glass (not bonded glass) on request
Ensure that all paperwork and electronic records are completed accurately and on time
Provide cover for any other appropriate and any other duties as may be required

Responsibilities

& removing required parts for sale

Quality control, checking parts prior and during removal process
Testing vehicles and components
Ensuring quality checks when possible
Health and Safety awareness
Ability to work in a quick and sufficient manner
Be able to work in a fastpaced environment
Own tools suitable for vehicle dismantling
Inspect before removing
Unbolt and remove engines, gearboxes and other large parts using straps, forklift, airlines and ramps such as checking engine compressions and quality
Strip down vehicle to extent where it is safe to cut out sections required with a stim saw, checking ensured all oils have been removed
