Are you a skilled Handy Person looking to provide top-notch maintenance services across multiple client sites?
We are seeking a versatile and proactive individual to join our team, delivering both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive services with mínimal supervision.
In this role, you will undertake fabric PPM, proactive, and reactive works issued through the helpdesk, ensuring completion within set time frames to meet customer expectations.
Your responsibilities will include general maintenance and repairs such as changing light bulbs, ensuring fixtures and fittings are in good working order, rewiring, changing fuses, and managing junction boxes.
Additionally, you will handle minor plumbing and carpentry tasks, assemble furniture or equipment, perform painting and decorating, change filters on air conditioning systems, maintain property exteriors through different seasons, and repair windows or doors.

Key Responsibilities
- Undertake Fabric PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met
- Provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Present a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand customer service and satisfaction
- Complete maintenance and repair records as required
- Review assigned work orders
- Estimate time and materials needed to complete repair
- Order necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in plumbing
- NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent in HVAC, mechanical engineering or equivalent with plumbing qualifications
- Significant experience in providing plumbing, carpentry, and fabric related building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance and installation
- Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance
- Experience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties
- Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements
