If you are looking for a varied role that will give you the opportunity to steer our upskilling journey and grow our culture of belonging, then this is the job for you Reporting to the HR Manager, you will have the opportunity to work at the financial servicesarm of a leading OEM, offering a variety of automotive financial products and services to dealers and customers.

These products play an important role in supporting vehicle sales. We also provide online saving products in the UK and Germany. The organisationis going through a significant period of transition, with upskilling and culture change being key priorities.

Position Description:


This role presents an excellent opportunity to be an integral part of the HR team, contributing your expertise, insights and ideas, working closely with colleagues across the business and supporting the delivery of key business objectives.

As our lead forLearning and Culture, you will be:


  • Leading our critical skills initiatives, partnering with workstream leads to deliver measurable improvements in digital, data, customer and innovation
  • Leveraging our learning management system (Oracle) and learning experience platform (Degreed), and developing online courses/resources using tools such as Camtasia and Captivate
  • Working with stakeholders as a credible and trusted partner, considering issues and requirements, recommending and delivering tailored solutions, engaging suppliers/internal resource
  • Coordinating and delivering engaging experiences, such as induction & graduate development
  • Coaching leaders and colleagues to deliver against the 2023 focus areas, creating shared ownership, engaged leadership and advocacy
  • Enthusiastically supporting the progress of our Advisory Board, working with the cochairs to ensure the Board operates with clear purpose and drives meaningful action
  • Promoting culture initiatives and outcomes, celebrating successes and ensuring employees are involved in our culture journey
  • Managing employee sentiment surveys, including communications, analytics and reporting

Experience Required:


  • Previous HR experience, particularly with a focus on learning and culture.
  • We need you to have a genuine passion, interest and curiosity in learning, and you'll need examples of where you have created positive impact in these areas.
  • Experience of working with learning technologies, as you will leverage our learning platforms and lead the annual refresh of our online learning modules.
  • Coaching and facilitating are key to the role, ability to demonstrate where you have supported and delivered change through others.
  • Focused and flexible mindset, an interest in listening to other perspectives and the ability to pivot as business needs change.
  • It would be beneficial if you've got experience of reaching outside your organisation or industry to learn or benchmark as we're keen to look beyond our own horizons.

Education Required:


  • Education is important to us; ideally, you'll have a degree or equivalent in hand, but if that's not the case (and you have experience/skills you feel are relevant and beneficial to the role) we're interested to hear from you.
