About us:

Kailo is a new research and design project working with young people and communities in Newham and Northern Devon to learn about the local issues that have an impact on young people's mental health and wellbeing and work together to improve them.

Over the past 8-10 months we have been speaking to lots of young people and adults in Newham and Northern Devon to understand what they think impacts young people's mental health and wellbeing the most, and what needs to change or improve.

Over the next year, as part of Kailo, we are bringing together groups of people with different experiences to work together to co-design ways of addressing one of the three prioritised areas outlined above, with the ultimate aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of young people in Newham.
