About The Role:

This specialist role will be road based and reports into our Inspection Team Leader


The role predominantly involves:

  • Inspecting and Servicing working at height Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), lifting accessories (LOLER), in line with manufacturers guidelines and relevant legislation
  • Examination of lifting accessories in line with manufactures guidelines and relevant legislation
  • Portable appliance testing
  • Working remotely on client's sites and at Safety Services offices, staying away from home when required
  • Assist with inhouse servicing
  • Completing all work with accuracy and attention to detail, as this is safetycritical equipment
  • Alongside the servicing you'll need to complete the administration process in accordance with our internal standards framework

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Full and valid UK Driving licence and the ability to travel on a frequent basis
  • Essential
  • GCSE A-C grade in Math's and English (or equivalent)
  • Competent using Microsoft Office packages including excel and Microsoft word
  • Desirable
  • A general interest in health and safety teamed with a willingness to build a career in this sector
  • Desirable
  • A 'safety first' mentality, demonstrating a continuous focus on safety
  • An excellent eye for/ attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and follow processes thoroughly
  • Ability to priorities their own workload
  • Ability to be flexible and support other team members as required


Please note out of hours (early starts and late finishes) together with overnight stays are a regular requirement of this role (travel and subsistence allowances are provided).

Normal working hours will be Monday to Friday, 08.30 to 17:00 with flexible working options.
