Xpertise has partnered with a rapidly growing HealthTech firm undergoing a large-scale digital and data transformation project, so they are looking for a Database Architect to join the fledgling team.

Title:
Database Architect

Salary:
£55,000-75,000

Location:
Nottingham + flexible hybrid working model (remote)

Key tech stack / skills required:

Previous database architectural expertise and a thorough understanding of on-premise/relational database systems such as SQL and Oracle are required.
Experience and/or understanding of cloud data solutions, ideally in Azure, is preferred.
Experience in technical delivery with a track record of executing design and architectural tasks is required.
Agile delivery experience.
Must be able to operate systematically in a fastpaced, timecritical setting.
Experience transferring onpremise data systems to cloud solutions (preferably within Azure) would be advantageous but optional.

**Role overview: **A particularly intriguing aspect of the work is the ongoing transition from traditional databases toward researching Azure's PaaS features, including Cosmos DB. Overall, this presents a fantastic opportunity for aDatabaseArchitect or a SQL DBA who wants training to become a more all-rounded SQL Architect and is eager to explore modern cloud database alternatives. If you have previous experience transferring SQL/Oracle databases to the cloud, that's fantastic If not, that'sfine too; we can train and upskill you in this area.
