You'll help us make health happen by:

  • Maintaining all grassed areas including mowing, trimming, weed control, repairs and feeding.-
  • Ensuring all trees and shrubs are maintained, including trimming, pruning, and assessing stability.-
  • Maintaining all flower beds, boarder plants, hanging baskets and potted plants.
  • Providing general maintenance, including sweeping and weed removal on all paved areas, removing any litter and raking leaves.
  • Responsible for keeping the tool sheds and storage areas tidy and maintaining all garden equipment and tools.
  • Supporting the Maintenance Operative as required with decorating duties and basic maintenance support.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • You have a minimum of 3 years hands on experience in grounds maintenance and a passion for gardening. Experience within a large commercial estate, knowledge of horticulture statutory requirements and a gardening or horticultural qualification would be advantageous. Friendly and approachable, you have excellent customer service skills and an ability to work well as part of a large team. With a practical ability and experience in painting and decorating, you're happy to help the wider team as required.
