Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant


Location:
Kent


Salary:
£75 - £90 per day

Start Date:
January 2023


About the role:
We're currently looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and empathetic Teaching Assistant for one of our client schools. They are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child that has Autism.


The role:

  • Supporting a child accessing the language resource base, so would suit someone with an interest in speech and language.
  • Would liaise closely with other professionals.
  • You will be working 1:1 and in small groups

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Some experience of working with children or in a school
  • A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils
  • Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Temporary contract


Salary:
£10.25-£11.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dover, Kent: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:


  • Special education: 1 year (preferred)
