An exiting opportunity for a skilled
CNC Operator has become available to join the expanding team of a well-established manufacturing company based in the Tameside area, who are looking to offer this position on a full time, permanent basis.

Location:Hyde

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
-
Hours:Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm and Friday, 8am to 4pm


Duties as a CNC Operator will include but not be limited to:

  • Operating 3 and 5 axis machines
  • Setting up and adjusting machinery as per job specifications
  • Punching materials from 0.6mm to 2mm in size
  • Set up of fixtures, jigs and setting tool datums
  • Assessing and inspecting quality of work
  • Use of CAD CAM software including Catia V5, Radan and Alphacam
  • Dealing with tooling changes

The successful CNC Operator will possess the following skills:

  • Experience with 3 and 5 Axis machinery
  • OSAI knowledge is essential
  • Experience of cutting Aluminium materials is beneficial
