Looking for a new Classroom Assistant role in South Birmingham?

An exciting Classroom Assistant position has become available, working with a pupil in KS4 with ADHD and complex learning needs.

** £400 - £450 per week

The Classroom Assistant:


For this Classroom Assistant position, you must hold a Level 3 Classroom Assistant qualification and have experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs.

It is important that you can work in a fast-paced environment and have a goodunderstanding of the range of additional needs you will be working with.

You must be a Classroom Assistant with excellent communication skills and a good understanding of de-escalation techniques.

The Classroom Assistant Role:


As a Classroom Assistant at this school, you will be working with pupils with challenging behaviour, SEN and SEMH needs.

You will be supporting teaching staff with delivering high-quality lessons, assisting with classroom management and learning support.

Asa Classroom Assistant, you will also work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, both providing academic support or assisting with pastoral support.


The School:


This Alternative Provision based in South Birmingham (the ward of Northfield) caters for KS3 and KS4 pupils with SEN, SEMH needs and challenging behaviour that cannot be met by a mainstream setting.
