We are looking for a motivated and passionate people focused individual who is experienced within Medical Recruitment and working withing a fast paced environment, who can support a fair and inclusive, fast paced resourcing service for all whilst ensuring that recruitment services are delivered in line with KPIs, NHS Standards and Trust Policies
The role will include:
- Managing and supervising the domestic and international recruitment processes to support safer staffing
- Identifying, delivering and implementing innovative solutions to promote George Eliot Hospital as an Employer of Choice to attract applicants for the future workforce pipeline.
- Advising, coaching and managing the Resourcing team, creating an environment through which the team continuously improve and strive to provide an excellent service.

As the team-leader you will be integral in making sure that recruitment services are safe, compliant and delivered to the highest standards within prescribed timeframes.
You will need strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive working relations with key stakeholders along with personal drive to continually improve services.

You will need to be able to demonstrate experience of people management, having challenging conversations and developing others
Experience within recruitment in a healthcare setting will support you in recognising opportunities for innovation and streamlining NHS processes

To lead on providing a timely, compliant and customer focused end to end recruitment process, with particular focus on Medical roles.
To be the lead for the Trust's preferred applicant tracking system; attending training and network events as appropriate, communicating notices, sharing best practice and new developments to the wider work-force.
Work closely with recruiting managers to ensure that all documentation meets the organisation standards in respect of job descriptions, person specifications and adverts, prior to publication.
Develop and update systems and procedures; creating process maps, guides and standard operating procedures for use by the team and other key stakeholders as necessary.
Work with the team to capture and report on Time to Hire activity against the Trust KPI Target of 45 working days; producing monthly reports to Identify and act upon areas of concern and under-achievement; raising concerns with the Resourcing Lead when appropriate.
Act as a best practice advisor to panels, ensuring interviews are carried out appropriately and professionally in line with trust policies.
Provide professional and sound advice on immigration status and checking procedures; processing certificate of sponsorships, visa extensions and work permits as appropriate in accordance with Home Office and Government Statutory Guidance.
Process and certify payments for certificate of sponsorships and immigration skill charges; recording and monitoring spend is within monthly budget allocation.
Conduct regular audits of recruitment activities to ensure NHS employment standards are adhered to; preparing reports using excel and word as appropriate.
Lead to develop or amend processes and systems to improve data quality and service delivery.
Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of the Recruitment internet/Intrane
