Customer Support Executive - Technical Product,
Leeds

£23,000- £25 000 per annum starting salary plus benefits

Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm shifts. 3 days office, 2 at home

Due to company location - must drive and have your own car

This is NOT a high-volume call centre environment.

This is the provision of customer care for a niche, technology product, and centres around high-end more complex support cases for large business customers.

More about the day to day role

  • These queries can be both simple and more complex. Simple issues can be password resets or ordering new products
  • More complex issues could be when the product isn't working properly. You'll talk the customer through ways to troubleshoot issues in these cases.
  • You will follow company guideline and manuals, which detail fixes for every problem
  • Escalating more complex technical issues to the inhouse technical support team

The background of the successful person

  • Warm, friendly way of dealing with customers
  • If you have any helpdesk or 1st line IT support experience, that would be ideal
  • If not, you should ideally have some experience multitasking and working on different systems with more complex customer support queries
  • If you have a second European language, that would be fantastic but not essential
  • Able to work with processes, and able to follow manuals and systems which document fixes
  • Inquisitive nature on how things work, and how things can be put back together
  • If you love solving problems and have a practical mindset you would feel very at home here
  • A love of being challenged and mentally stimulated
  • A love for technology and a desire to work with a technology product, within a fast moving and everchanging technology organisation
