The Supply Room are offering exciting and rewarding opportunities for aspiring and committed Teaching Assistants to join our team, working in our schools across Bournemouth and Poole.

No previous experience in a school is required.

We would love to hear from you if you have experience caring for children or vulnerable adults in any professional or volunteer capacity.

Depending on your choice of location and preference of age group, you could be working in one of our fantastic SEN schools in Bournemouth or Poole, working with primary or secondary children that have a diverse range of Special Educational Needs & Disabilities.


Role Details:


  • Fulltime hours p/w)
Monday to Friday (Typical day 08:30 - 15:30)

  • Immediate start date or from April 2024 (depending on notice period)
  • Multiple roles available across Bournemouth and Poole
  • Flexibility in choosing a school that suits your skills and preferences
  • Fixedterm, temporarytopermanent and permanent roles available
  • Minimum of £11.68 per hour (Competitive based on experience)

Responsibilities:


  • Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons, providing support to individuals or small groups.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Follow students' Education, Health and Care Plans (ECHP's).
  • Help with the preparation and organisation of teaching materials.
  • Assist in the implementation of behaviour management strategies.
  • Contribute to the overall wellbeing and development of students.

Autism Awareness: Gain valuable insights and skills to support students on the autism spectrum, fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Challenging Behaviour Awareness: Develop strategies to manage and address challenging behaviours, contributing to a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.

Team Teach: Receive training in positive handling and de-escalation techniques, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all.
