Equifind are proud to be supporting a highly-anticipated fintechstartup to recruit a Financial Operations & Data Junior.


This newly created role is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate with an interest in finance, and the financial services sector, as it will offer 'across the board' exposure within a super-fast-growth business in a thriving new sector.

What will I be doing?


Based in their London Bridge office, you will provide all-round support to the Finance Manage and Chief Product Officer, in relation to finance, data and product operations matters.


This is a process-oriented role whose primary objective is to optimise existing processes, identify blockers to business progress, and introduce new scalable processes that will accelerate the delivery of value to clients.


You will ensure a seamless and reliable operational experience by helping solve client and user queries and support them through their onboarding and usage of the product, whilst identifying areas of improvement for our current products and possible newavenues to explore.


Key duties include:

  • Contribution to monthly reconciliations and annual financial statements
  • Preparation of KPIs and further financial analytics
  • Development and improvement of financial processes and controls including appropriate documentation
  • Participate in the review and evaluation of new accounts and help maintain new account KYC records
  • Move clients from signed contract to golive as quickly as possible
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients
  • Work with our outsourced data science and developer teams to help build out our data warehouse
  • Execute data queries on our database and generate reports
  • Identify, track and fix user/system issues, anomalies, bugs etc.
Who should apply?

  • Recent graduates with a 2:1 or above
  • Ideally in a degree that demonstrates numeracy, technological or business acumen
  • Selfstarters with a 'startupmindset'
  • Strong financial/analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Detailed oriented with a proven track record for accuracy
  • Ability to build relationships across all levels
