Description

Skilltech Resourcing are currently recruiting for a workshop maintenance operative for their client in the Birkenhead area.

As a workshop maintenance operative, you will:

Complete minor building repairs such as plumbing/ painting / electrical repairs etc.
Assist with the daytoday upkeep of workshop equipment drills/ saws/ grinders.
General cleaning/ clearing of shop floor spillages etc.
Occasional use of the company vehicle to assist with site deliveries and collections.

We are looking for a building/ facilities maintenance operative with:

Minimum of 5 years facilities/ buildings maintenance or similar multi trade experience.
Basic plumbing, electrical, joinery skills.
Competent in manual tasks and the use of hand tools.
Current valid UK driving licence.

Initially temporary, a permanent contract will be offered following a successful probationary period.

Standard 39-hour day shift with overtime paid at time and one half.

£13.50p/hour PAYE
