The Octagon Shopping Centre located in Burton upon Trent, is committed to providing a retail experience for the people of Burton upon Trent and the surrounding area.

Along with our stores, our aim is to create a friendly and pleasant environment for our guests, and our Cleaning Team forms part of our front-line services by providing a clean and safe shopping experience.

As a Cleaning Operative you will be part of a small team working on a rota basis.

You must be fully flexible, open to overtime working and able to cover other members of the team for holidays and sickness.


Key duties will include using a variety of cleaning equipment; outdoor sweeping machines, scrubber dryers, pressure washers, compactors and vacuum cleaning machines to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness both inside and outside the centre.

In addition, the Cleaning Operatives will ensure that all waste is dealt with appropriately and all bins are emptied and cleaned as/when required.

Experience is not essential as training will be given. Other cleaning duties will be required, such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, litter picking, cleaning the public toilets and window cleaning

Part-time hours: 16 per week


Salary:
£10.42 per hour
