Overview of Role:

Coach a caseload of learners and their mentors
(following TDM's curriculum intent and approach) in order to maximise timely achievement rates and the acquisition of both Skills and Knowledge.

You must also reliably document a learning narrative in order to ensure compliance. Design and Deliver Training Programmes
following TDM's task-based, flipped classroom approaches and methodologies. Teach towards industry certifications. Find joy in your professional work** and collaborate with managers and colleagues.

  • Be employer responsive - developing and maintaining strong employer relationships, assisting in employer impact / digital transformation / change management, futureproofing workforce planning and generating Degree Apprenticeship / Apprenticeship / Skills Bootcamp starts with your employer partners.
  • Plan, assess, teach and align individual learning plans within both genuinely work-based learning and the educational brief, ensuring quality and accuracy in the completion of required documentation.
  • Proactively progress learning and facilitate formative and summative assessment of learners' SKILLS via a range of methods.
  • Proactively progress learning and facilitate formative and summative assessment of learners' KNOWLEDGE via a range of methods.
  • Effectively document the learner journey through regular report writing.
  • Effectively rate learners against the RBSG (red, bronze, silver, gold) criteria (predicting programme success not personal performance).
  • Ensure learner retention remains high and learners achieve timely completion of their programme.
  • Coach learners, working with them and their employer/mentors (where applicable) to help them advance in their chosen programme by monitoring their progress and giving robust feedback.
  • Plan for and conduct tripartite coaching sessions (where applicable) - liaising with mentor/employer to create and manage a unique learning plan tailored to the learners in their places of work, with the aim of helping them to achieve the highest grade possible in their chosen Tech and Digital programme.
  • Engage with learners to improve their MATHS skills.
  • Create and manage learner action plans and provide additional learning support where required
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the programmes you coach and train on.
  • Deliver and document employer and learner responsive coaching sessions using formative coaching and assessment skills (i.e. PATA or GROW).
  • Design, develop and deliver classroom-based training around the relevant Standard/programme (virtual or real world).
  • Design, develop and deliver blended learning, mainly using Totara, Moodle and Mahara.
  • Deliver coaching/training sessions flexibly across different programmes and Standards.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of the end point assessment criteria for relevant Standards, using this to ensure learners achieve the best possible grade they can.
  • Engage with and support quality processes.
  • Any other duties as directed by your line manager and/or a Director.
  • Compliance with all TDM policies, procedures and legal responsibilities, including ISO9001 and Cyber Essentials.

Required:

  • Experience working across the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Educated to Level 6+ or equivalent in a data related field
  • English and Maths at Level 2+ (i.e. GCSE grade C/4+).
  • Successful work experience within the technical field(s) which you will coach and train for at TDM.
  • A clear narrative around your natural hunger for continuous learning and development within the technical field(s) which you will coach in at TDM.
  • Is eager to quickly learn about and coach others in the use of a range of established and emergent Microsoft products, tools and resources, such as Copilot, Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, and GitHub Copilot, as well as their training and certification products.
  • Wellrounded knowledge of a broad range of the fundamentals of tech and digital as a minimum.
  • A history of training, teaching and/or coaching, providing interactive and engaging sessions and development opportunities to adult learners.
  • A passion for working with and fostering relationships with learners and their employers.
  • Strong project management and organisation skills to ensure each employer and each learner achieves what they're capable of.
  • Good writing, selforganisation and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to deliver your own everyday work in line with TDM values and to communicate and instil those values with employers and learners from various backgrounds.
