Introduction:


Due to the nature of the work, you will be required to work full time on site. There may be options for home working on some occasions.

Our client is looking for a Survival Equipment Lead to design and deliver training to the Survival Equipment team within the RAF.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded organisation within the aviation industry and support the development of their survival equipment fitting teams. You will ideally have a background in aviation and enjoy teaching trainees.

Key responsibilities:


  • Plan, design, and deliver handson training packages to RAF Trade Group 1
  • Ensure NVQ Level 3 requirements are met.
  • Update courseware to comply with new procedures.
  • Mentor trainees and help their progression.
  • Liaise with different departments to keep training updated.
  • Help with the routine maintenance of survival equipment.

Skills & experience:


  • Background in aviation.
  • Confident designing and delivering training courseware.
  • Understanding of the NVQ assessment process.
  • Strong experience working with military technical publications.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and problemsolving abilities.
  • Strong desire to teach and help the development of trainees.
