£37,099 to £44,263 per annum pro-rata (A revised salary range for this grade of £39,347 to £46,974 pro-rata is planned to take effect from Spring 2024)

Contract type:
Part-time (20 hours per week)

**Fixed-term: 10.5 months


The Opportunity:


As part of a NSFGEO-NERC collaborative award, the PDRA will undertake varied analyses of seismic data recorded at Sierra Negra volcano in the Galapagos Islands.
This post is part-time (20 hours per week) for 10.5 months.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • PhD. in a relevant area (e.g. volcano seismology, volcano geophysics), or near completion.
  • Experience of processing and analysing seismic data Willingness to learn new skills required for successful undertaking of the role.
