Fundraising and Events Assistant
Permanent | Full-Time | up to £25,000
South Bucks (towards Slough)
We are currently seeking a highly organized, intelligent and enthusiastic individual to join a very prestigious establishment to work within their foundation department.
This will be a varied role where you will be managing the fundraising database, carrying out research projects, collating reports and proposals for prospective donors as well as helping with the planning and execution of fundraising events.
Job duties:
- Assisting with the planning and execution of all fundraising events
- Managing any donations and gift entries
- Assisting with fundraising campaign administration
- Working closely with the marketing, finance and administration team
- Preparing and collating proposals to prospective donors
- Managing diaries and scheduling appointments with potential donors and stakeholders
- Carrying out data entry tasks, maintaining and updating all records on the CRM system
- Maintaining financial data and producing reports when needed
- Carrying out research activities for potential donors, qualifying prospective individuals, corporate and trust prospects
- Collating research briefs
- Attending events which are sometimes held during evenings or weekends
Job requirements:
- Ideally you will have experience within fundraising and events
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with individuals
- Administrative / event project management experience would be ideal
- Excellent data management skills requirements
- Immaculate written skills
- Strong IT skills including Word and Excel
- Public transport links are very limited so it would be beneficial to drive
