Logistics Sales Manager

Location:
Ipswich

Salary:
up to 50k

Reed Procurement & Supply Chain are working with a well-respected in the industry with a reputation for providing quality services and are one of the leading international carriers serving Asia.

They are looking for a Sales Manager to join their Logistics team.

This is a national role and so the individual must be prepared to travel around the UK as required to meet customers.

What is involved?
- selling advanced supply chain logistics management services ('ISCMS') as well as FCL, LCL, air freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, and customs brokerage services.

Identify business development potential in existing clients to increase profitability of accounts.
Understand and actively target the right clients to fit our products.

- working with Inside Sales and Customer Services departments, as well as weekly reporting of activities via the company CRM software

Understand and actively target the right clients to fit our products.

Key Skills Needed

At least 2 years sales experience within Freight Industry
Good administrative capability
Able to provide accurate quotes.
Good communication
Account management within Freight industry
