About the role

You will be working with Primary aged students (3-11 years) within this mainstream school's additional resource provisions for students with Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties.

You will spend some of your time in the Autism Provision and the restwithin the MLD provision with students with Learning and Cognition needs.

Individuals with experience working with ASC or other SEN needs are highly desirable for this role and those with training such as Team teach, PECS or Makaton training even more so.

You will be working in the provision alongside the class teacher and 2 other teaching assistants to help students engage in lessons, interact with peers, carry out behaviour interventions and help with any care needs of students.

Your role will involve facilitatinginclusive learning for all students by helping to adapt activities to ensure all students of all needs are able to access a fully inclusive curriculum.

This is an excellent mixed mainstream school based in Hammersmith and Fulham for students aged 3-11 years old.

The school has an additionally resourced provision for students with moderate learning difficulties, where students are able to get specialistsupport from individuals with experience working with complex needs.

All students within the provision have an EHCP statement of Special Educational Needs.

Children in the unit study a differentiated version of the National Curriculum and they share the sametopics and themes as their mainstream partner class.

Many opportunities for trips and visits are made throughout the year, to support learning in school.
