Description
We are looking to appoint a teacher from either January or April 2023 (as soon as possible), the position has arisen within a special education setting that caters for pupils with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs - if you're looking toteach small groups of pupils, this could be for you


Upon joining this school, who are rated 'Good' by Ofsted, you can expect to work in a class of up to 12 pupils who are working towards functional skills and GCSE qualifications.

In the class, you will be supported by a minimum of two teaching assistants.

Working hours:
Monday to Friday (term-time only) from 8am until 4pm.


Whilst initially you will be employed by REED, the school are keen to appoint a teacher seeking either a long-term temporary or permanent role.


The successful teacher will have:

  • QTS, QTLS or a relevant teaching qualification
  • A passion for making a positive difference to disadvantaged students
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Resilience and patience
  • An understanding of complex social, emotional, and mental health issues (ADHD, PTSD, Trauma)
