Forming part of the SYNLAB Group, Lextox are a UKAS accredited laboratory based in Cardiff. Lextox provide drug, alcohol and DNA testing services for family law cases and childcare proceedings. SYNLAB in the UK is a trusted expert in clinical laboratory and medical diagnostic services.
We have a new and exciting job opportunity for a Trainee Reporting Administrator to join our Reporting team in Cardiff, on a full-time and permanent basis.
You will learn and develop the skills to play an integral part in the drug and alcohol testing process, whilst learning to interpret results and translate them through easy-to-understand Expert Reports.
Hours: 07:30am - 3:30pm / Mon-Fri
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the logging of samples is undertaken in accordance with SOP's and the requirements of ISO 1702
- Actively work towards always improving the quality of customer service and workflows.
- Familiarise yourself with the process as well as the laboratory.
- Ensure that turnaround times are kept to a minimum.
- Respect the confidentiality of the information obtained and refrain from disclosing any information without consent.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of GCSE level of Grade 'C' English and preferred Science background.
- Good knowledge of IT systems.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Good organisation and interpersonal skills.
