Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Associate Director, Financial Crime Systems and Typologies to join an inclusive and collaborative team in London.

This is a full-time role, and it offers a salary of up to £120k andan attractive benefits package including equity and bonus.


As a Senior Financial Crime Manager, you will drive a best-in-class approach to the company's anti-fraud and financial crime efforts, with a focus on second-line oversight of the implementation and management of systems, rules and linked processes specificallywithin transactional business banking, lending and savings.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

  • Advise on and implement system rules to mitigate transactional financial crime and fraud risk across a variety of product types
  • Continually monitor system output to ensure systems are enhanced and tweaked where necessary
  • Take the lead, working with product and engineering teams, to configure FinCrime and Fraud systems and create systems rules
  • Keep abreast of uptodate typologies within financial crime and fraud and implement strategies to mitigate these


To succeed in this anti-financial crime and fraud role, you will need significant experience working in financial crime systems, with a keenness to shape and mold an industry-leading financial crime function.


You will also require the following:

  • Ability to translate typologies easily into workable system rules/processes
  • Knowledge of how the financial crime regulatory environment interacts with technology/payments
  • Strong understanding of payment architecture
