This well-established membership organisation is currently seeking a Head of Finance to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into a highly respected CFO, you will be fully responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the financedepartment, whilst pioneering several exciting process improvement projects.

The key duties of this Head of Finance role are as follows:

Take the lead in the development of a more established business partnering function, rolling out new processes and procedures to ensure the delivery of meaningful financial analysis to guide decision making.
Manage the year end audit process, liaising with external auditors to agree the initial plan and ensure they have access to the necessary data files.
Oversee the production of the statutory accounts and attend various Committee meetings throughout the year in conjunction with the CFO.
Have an active role in the preparation of the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
Full responsibility for coordinating the timely production of monthly management accounts with supporting commentaries and variance analysis for the Board.
Manage a small team of highly capable finance professionals, ensuring they all meet their key deliverables and driving performance.
Play a critical role in the implementation of a new finance system, maintaining the integrity of data and spotting opportunities to automate existing processes.

Achieved their full accountancy qualification.
Experience working in a similar role at a senior level.
Ideally, a background working for a membership organisation, but this is by no means essential.
Experience managing and motivating a small team.
Previously led a year end process.
Brilliant communication and interpersonal skills.
