Our client, a growing consulting group based in Leeds, are looking to hire an experienced Management Accountant to provide support to the Financial Controller.
Working closely with stakeholders, this role will offer commercial exposure to business partneringand process improvement within a growing and ever changing organisation.
Role- We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detailoriented Management Accountant to join the centralized Finance operations.
- Knowledge of international accounting and bookkeeping practices, as well as a strong work ethics are desirable.
- You will be coordinating and talking with team members based in 7 countries and clients across the globe so communication skills are important
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Preparation of full month end management accounts
- P+L and Balance Sheet
- Preparation of balance sheets, ensuring they are reconciled and ready for use in management account packs
- Month end reporting creating MI and commercial analysis to help prepare board pack
- Introducing better, robust accounting processes and models
- Collaborating with the FC to create financial models for budgeting & forecasting
- Bank reconciliations, prepayments and accruals producing account packs for review
- Analysis of key performance indicators and project performance within teams / departments
- Business partnering with other depts and front office sales teams
- Driving continuous improvement of internal processes and systems
- Assisting with Audit process
- Assisting with Budgeting process
- Assisting with Forecasting process
- Various finance admin roles where necessary including maintenance of sales/purchase ledger
- Studying Accountant for either CIMA or ACCA
- Experience producing accounts to Trial Balance, Debtors / Creditors processing and control including Bank Reconciliations
- Essential
- A superb communicator excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all staff members
- Computer literate, with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of packages such as Outlook and Word
