Hours: 6:30am until 2:30pm (Monday to Friday)

£11.80 per hour / £23,000 pa

Polytec are looking for an Electronic Assembler for our client based just outside Cambridge.


Responsibilities:


  • Assemble electronic components and products according to specifications
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, drawings, and diagrams
  • Use hand tools and power tools to perform assembly tasks
  • Perform surface mount technology (SMT) assembly
  • Test and troubleshoot assembled products to ensure functionality
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in electronic assembly
  • Knowledge of electrical components and circuits
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in assembly processes
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings, and diagrams
  • Proficient in assembling electronic components using hand tools and power tools
  • Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT) assembly techniques
