  • Job descriptionWorking within Strategy and Innovation Unit, the Transformation, Innovation and Research Team plays a key role in helping inform the Chief Officer Team and senior leaders on how the Force is performing.
The team assists with HMICFRS activities, and this role will provide support to the Strategy and Innovation Manager.


The team supports all areas of the Force by undertaking a variety of activities such as research & developing ideas to improve delivery, performance testing data sources & processes such as crimes to identify themes and horizon scanning to identify emerging issues.

All activity is aimed at informing the business to assist in the delivery of an excellent policing service; providing assurance or highlighting areas for development where appropriate.

The role provides a platform to be innovative to drive positive change.
