18 hours 30 minutes per week

Monday - Friday hours to be worked between 10.30am and 2.30pm


The Bereavement Services Team are looking for an organised person to support them in providing a sensitive, compassionate and efficient burial, cremation and memorial service.

You should have proven experience in an administrative capacity. Experience in a related environment linked to bereavement or a care-based industry would be an advantage but not essential. You will be competent with the use of computers and managing computerised systems.

You should have a good eye for detail, be able to maintain good relationships at all levels and can prioritise work with mínimal supervision.


The successful applicant will be motivated to play their part in excellent service, together with the ability to demonstrate commitment to the authority's Corporate Values Framework and CANDO ways of working.

Please note that due this being part of a front facing service there are no options for home working.
