JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLE:
Sales Admin


REPORTING TO:
Head of Supply Chain


Description of role:
Working a fixed day shift 9am - 5pm.

Job holder will oversee all aspects of Sales Order Processing including goods leaving site and reporting KPIs to key customers.


Main Responsibilities

  • Input Sales orders onto Sage system and manage changes.
  • Monitor when Stock will be available to ship
  • Liaise with 3PL and Hauliers to plan transport for collections and deliveries of orders
  • Create Order Picks and inform Finance when invoices should be raised.
  • Compile document packs for export orders.
  • Pass information to customers in line with their Inbound/ASN requirements
  • Pick small orders for customers, box up/palletise for despatch
  • Attend weekly meetings with Customers to report plan attainment and take actions for fulfilment.
  • Initial Product setup and managing of metadata
  • Stock check finished goods and ensure 3PL systems are in line with our systems
  • Take care of your own Health & Safety and that of those who may be affected by your actions
  • Provide suggestions on ways of improving efficiency and reducing waste
  • Work effectively as part of a team whilst maintaining the capability to function individually
  • Carry out any reasonable request in the most efficient way
  • Respect and value other members of staff to create a positive working environment

Qualifications

  • Good level of computer literacy. (Excel/ERP)
  • Good level of numeracy and data relationships
  • Previous customer relation experience desirable
  • Food sector experience desirable

Cover

  • In the absence of the Job Holder, basic tasks to cover this role will be picked up by other members of the Supply Chain Team. Holidays will be coordinated accordingly.
