During holidays - home based - 9am-4.00pm ( may have to occasionally go into office)
An international school based in Chiswick are looking a School Administrator to join their team. This role involves the efficient use of staff resources, room spaces and time management for events/trips and school transportation.
Looking for a School Administrator that has worked in a similar role, IT proficient as well as have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This role requires DBS clearance.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Secondary Principal in administrative tasks and calendar management
- Assist the timetabler to create and maintain an overview of staffing loadings using Excel
- Input and update timetable entries or room changes as received from the timetabler into the iSAMS system
- Create and manage class lists and additional staff duties timetable
- Develop and maintain the online booking system for shared spaces
- Set up templates for events anf facilitate the events and trips management system platform
- Coordinate the planning of annual residential trips
- Review planned staff absences and liaise with division leaders/HR as necessary
- Arrange the daily cover timetable and duties for teaching staff.
- Book, coordinate cover teachers and ensure they are informed of their responsibilities and provided with necessary work materials
- Assist in the daily operation of the bussing system. Provide updated collection lists for endofday bus pickup
- Collaborate with bussing companies to allocate learners to bus routes
- Familiarise yourself with the School's Child Protection Policy and report any concerns to the designated Child Protection Officer
- Ensure that all educational practices align with the school's health and safety procedures and policies
Key Skills Required:
- Previous experience in an administration within a school environment
- Experience of learning systems iSAMS and Managebac (preferred) or SIMS
- ICT Skills and proficiency on MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Work as part of a team
- Work confidently and efficiently
- Ability to multi‐task
