What you will be doing...

  • The

Aviation Security Coordinator is responsible to the
-
Aviation Security Manager, providing support and assistance to ensure the company meets the requirements in respect of its air carrier operations both in the
-
UK and foreign states as outlined within the company
-
Air Carriers Security Programme and related aviation security processes and procedures.
What will you do in the role?
The
-
Aviation Security Coordinator will provide support and advice to various teams within the business on matters relating to
-
aviation security procedures and regulation. When required review, investigation, and escalation of security incident reports as well as risk assessments and mapping of hazards, occurrences and incidents.


You will also:

  • Conduct audits of security functions delivered by both internal departments and external providers
  • Design and delivery of security specific training courses for various internal departments
  • Support the anonymous and confidential reporting facility
  • Creating reports to assist with the briefing of
    Aviation Security related occurrences to the wider business
  • Develop promotional material for publication in internal communications
  • Participate in various internal and external meetings

Deputise for the
Aviation Security Manager when required

  • Liaise with compliance authority personnel, to include, but not limited to,
    DfT and
    CAA:
  • Administrative tasks as required to include, but not limited to, data collation and MI reports

What are the key skills / experience you'll already have?

  • Experience of training creation and delivery
  • Excellent
attention to detail

  • Ability to gain
    UK Security Vetting Clearance to
    CTC Level with possibility of
    SC level if required
  • Logical, questioning and thorough approach to work
  • Auditing and/or training experience
  • Prepared to travel (UK and Overseas)
