Office Based - Warwickshire Area

Basic Salary £28,000-£35,000 dependant on experience plus excellent benefits

Full Time, Permanent

My client a reputable and established not for profit organisation in Warwickshire is recruiting for an Events Executive.

The Role of Events Executive

Your primary role will be to organize and deliver top-class B2B events from inception through to delivery. This will involve promotion, website/e-marketing, sales, administration and CRM maintenance working as part of our highly-motivated event team.


Responsibilities


Organising and delivering a wide programme of commercial and strategic events for members and guests in accordance with budget and event objectives.


Logistical delivery of events - this includes use of the virtual events platform (Zoom), venue sourcing (live events only), virtual and on-site delivery, pre-event planning/administration including speaker and delegate liaising, first class event execution.


Co-ordinating the delegate booking process, including building, and maintaining webpages, liaison with relevant internal departments to optimise the delegate booking experience.

Working alongside internal team for the commercial event activity ensuring exhibitor and partnership deliverables are managed.

Creating promotional material for each activity, with the ability to identify cross promotional opportunities for products and services.

Collating information for event budgeting.


Person Specification


At least three years' experience in B2B event management including sales, marketing and communications within a commercially focused membership/client service-led organisation.

Ability to work independently and in a small team; resourceful with good interpersonal skills.

A multi-tasking, problem solver capable of working under pressure with concurrent deliverables; willing to take responsibility for delivering on-time.

A well-organised, planned approach to work with strong attention to detail. Excellent time-management with the ability to reprioritise work to meet deadlines.

Excellent promotional skills and commercial knowledge, able to write promotional copy. Good IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office packages, CRM, Website, Adobe, Social Media etc.

Flexible - accepts and enjoys change and responding to new challenges.

Friendly but professional, top-class written and verbal communication skills; enjoys helping and supporting members' businesses and colleagues too.

Confident on phone/screen, hosting meetings, taking calls, making sales calls with others.

Ready to attend and deliver events with early starts, late finishes, occasionally on weekends and sometimes staying away.
