Halsall St Cuthbert's C of E Primary School is a thriving village school with a strong Christian ethos.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced business support officer to join our team.

This is a key position to act as the first point of contact in the multi-professional team and assist in the smooth running of the School.

Working alongside children 3-11 years, demonstrating our high values and commitment to the welfare of all our pupils.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and organisational skills and will have previous experience of working within a similar administrative role.

You will be able to work to deadlines, have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and working with databases, have good numeracy skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

Essential Qualifications

4 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English Grade C or aboveEssential Experience

The post holder will be required to provide routine clerical/administrative/word processing and financial support to the school.
Desirable Experience

  • The postholder will need a high level of IT skills and understand a range of schoolbased software packages such as SIMs, Oracle Fusion and Finance 6.
