Contract to start on until with a possible extension.PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, multi-disciplinary team and to work with a range of stakeholders involved in delivering the Hackney project - King's Park Moving Together (KPMT).
A high degree of flexibility will be required, and the Programme Support Officer will have the ability to adapt to different priorities and provide programme support as projects develop or emerge.
The postholder will have excellent administrative and/or project management support skills to support the delivery of KPMT and our work in the borough.
The postholder will be a pro-active, highly organised individual with experience of working within a small team to deliver a busy and varied programme of work.
A confident communicator, the postholder will be able to liaise with a wide range of partners including the statutory sector, Sport England, voluntary sector partners, and local residents.
The postholder will need to be proactive in their approach to managing their work and comfortable working on their own initiative and with mínimal supervision.
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Provide excellent administrative support to the KPMT Team, ensuring that the overall administrative function for KPMT works effectively.
Be the first point of contact for the KPMT project, liaising with strategic partners, delivery partners, residents and internal teams.
Provide the secretariat function for KPMT related meetings and events including; organising meetings, venues and refreshments, sending invites, preparing agendas and papers.
Maintain and update the programme plan and other key programme documents such as the risk register, budget tracker and project budgets.
Maintain and update the Programme Management Framework, regularly updating the project dashboard and ensuring all new projects are added and all spend is cross-checked with the budget tracker.
Prepare the quarterly highlight report, co-ordinating submissions from across the team and partners (as appropriate) and preparing the template to include the top risks and including the latest budget update (in liaison with the directorate accountant and Head of Programme).
Work with the evaluation partner to organise and coordinate evaluation activities and events across the team and with stakeholders, ensuring that information, deadlines and processes are clearly communicated to the relevant participants.
Co-ordinate the monitoring return submissions from partners and review the monitoring return template in liaison with the programme team and evaluation lead.
