We are an Integrated Occupational Therapy Team with the majority of the team being based in the Oban hospital, working primarily with the adult population in both in-patient and community settings.
We have a small team based on the Island of Mull, covering in-patients and the communities of Mull & Iona.
Our community visiting service covers the inner Hebridean islands of Colonsay, Coll and Tiree.About the role
We are seeking to recruit Bank Band 4 Assistant Practitioners in Occupational Therapy to join the Integrated Occupational Therapy service.
This is a crucial role in terms of the smooth day to day running of the OT Team and you will support the Occupational Therapists with their caseloads.
You will work under the supervision of registered Occupational Therapists and use specialist assessment and rehabilitation skills with your own caseload of less complex clients, supporting them to maximize their independence on their journey from hospital to home.
About you
***You should be confident, have great communication skills and 3 years experience of working within the Health and Social care sector. You will either hold an HNC in OT support or be willing to work towards one. It is essential that you can drive, have excellent organisational and IT skills and an ability to prioritise a varied workload.
