Hybrid or Working from Home:


  • Our client has daily check ins with the whole team via MS Teams each morning and use MS Teams to stay connected throughout the day/week to provide support to each other whilst working remotely.

Parking:
Free Parking at our client's sites in Basildon and or Southend on Sea

Pay Rates:

£ £12.00 paye per hour

£ £13.00 paye inclusive of holiday pay per hour

£ £14.00 umbrella per hour

All of the rates are depending on skill and experience


Working Days and Hours:
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours, 9am-5pm


Travelling for work purposes:
Travel to Basildon and Southend for face to face meetings as well as away days when required


Job Purpose


Our client has a bold ambition to deliver improved outcomes for our 1.2m population through our four Alliances, and we are placing clinical and professional leadership and the voice of our residents at the heart of realizing this ambition.

The postholder will be a key member of the Place-based team.

The team's aim is to work in partnership with local partners and communities to improve local population health within a defined geographical area.


This role will support on delivery of this approach, working with the team to support a culture of collaborative innovation and integration across partners, including residents.

The postholder will have a key role in both day to day support of defined areasof transformation projects and in supporting wider team deliverables through efficient and responsive administration.

Although the postholder will be based within a Place team, they will work with teams across the ICB.


The postholder will be a motivated, organised individual who is a self-starter, able to adapt to new ideas and ways of working as they support the delivery of the ICB and Place ambitions.


Duties

  • Responsible for decisions made during the course of duties, seeking guidance and escalating issues where appropriate
  • Assist with the delivery of project plans and workstreams, as directed by line manager and raising any issues with delivery to line manager
  • Required to supervise less experienced team members and demonstrate how to perform tasks within the remit of their role
  • Responsible for the monitoring of one or more budgets
  • Seeks best value for money within own area of work
  • A daytoday support to the team for an allocated number of PCNs in a defined area.
  • Responsible for contributing to specific PCN projects in a defined PCN area and dependent upon local needs and priorities.
  • Develops effective working relationships with providers and stakeholders involved both within and outside of the NHS to support the delivery of projects/workstreams
  • Understands strategic plans and contributes to enabling them to be delivered
  • Works with the team to contribute to meaningful engagement with residents and local communities in defining care needs and support the design of solutions, across all cultures and communities.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Diploma level qualification or equivalent level of experience in relevant role
  • Additional training or experience to support the requirements of the role
  • Substantial experience of working in a senior administration/secretarial environment
  • Experience of working in a service focused environment.
  • Experience of arranging meetings, preparing agendas and transcribing minutes of meetings
  • Experience of providing administrative and project support and developing and implementing administrative systems.
  • Knowledge of administrative systems and procedures
  • To contribute to defined plans that have been devised in collaboration with partners
  • Demonstrate understanding of the NHS People Promise and ICB Values and actively supports in daytoday activities
  • Take personal responsibility for positively contributing to a safe and inclusive culture as well as understanding how best to raise any concerns around leadership and management
  • Understands the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion and applies these throughout their work
  • Challenges within remit of the role and escalates appropriately where these principles are at risk of not being upheld
