Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary School
Do you currently hold a degree and have a real passion for working with children or young adults?

Have you thought about
teaching, social care, health care or charity work as a career path but would like to gain some experience working with young people before making that big decision?

If yes, Shape A Life is for you We are currently supporting a secondary school in Birmingham, who seek graduates for Teaching Assistant roles for the remainder of the academic year.

We are looking for highly enthusiastic individuals with any degree. You just need a can-do attitude and have genuine interest to want to work with and help young people.

Starting ASAP, this will be a term time only position and it will pay
£430 - £450/week.

Your Key Responsibilities:

1:1 and small group pupil support under direct supervision of teaching staff.
Supporting independent learning and providing feedback to the teacher.
Supporting the teacher with managing behaviour and keep pupils on task.
Helping to create a positive and productive learning environment.
Supporting pupils in social and emotional wellbeing.
Ensuring all pupils feel valued and included in the classroom.

In this rewarding role, you'll be responsible for providing practical and learning support to their learners, including those with SEN under the guidance of the class teachers.

You will need:
