You will be involved with configuration & support of IP networks and systems, programming, faultfinding and resolution. Also responsible for installation of equipment including cables.

Detailed Job Description:

Exciting opportunity to join a company involved in creating innovative digital experiences that bring ideas and stories to life through audio and visual effects.

Clients include heritage sites, retail & main contractors.

You will be involved with configuration & support of IP networks and systems, programming, fault finding and resolution whilst also being responsible for installation of equipment including cables.

The role is a mix of being office and site based, it's part practical and can be physical, the role involves installing equipment to various specifications that can range in height etc.

full training i.e. PASMA training and other H&S requirements provided.

Projects operate on a national basis you will be working away and sometimes up to a week - accommodation and food is paid for, in addition and if required car mileage too.

Duties and responsibilities:

Installation & Termination of cables
Installation & commissioning of Screens, Projectors, Control Systems, Kiosks, Amplifiers, Matrixes and

general audio-visual systems

System programming
Fault Finding & resolution
Rack Building & dressing
Configuration & support of IP networks & systems

Skills Required:

Experience of installing data networks advantageous
Customer service
Problem solving
Work under time pressure and to deadlines
Organisation and time management
Good communication skills
This is an active role you'll need to feel happy being on your feet and involved with manual tasks.

Other Information:

Working conditions:

Subject to working independently at customer sites.
Full UK Driving license required
Can work with less supervision and under pressure.

Physical requirements:

Routine lifting of objects up to 40 pounds such as drills, AV equipment and other equipment related to

the AV installation

Subject to climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolds, and work at heights up to 5m.
Subject to standing or walking for long periods of time.
Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
Work is routinely performed in both internal and external environments and with occasional exposure to

inclement weather, and varying temperatures.
